A bunch of post back, I made the somewhat tongue in cheek commentary that privacy is somewhat of a pain. Seth Godin's rant on Blog Spam makes a great point about hiding behind that ugly word: anonymity. It is a bad thing and every application from email to blogging should have the 'no anonymity allowed.' I want to know who you are and I expect to have to tell you who I am.
CB radios were (are?) a good example of people saying and maybe doing things they wouldn't be doing if they were known to those on the other end of breaker breaker 19.
