More on Gnomedex 5.0 but first this message
The debate over Microsoft, Longhorn, RSS and the free world is cranking up.
I've got some interesting feedback and further thoughts.
But first, a word from what matters.
Doc Searls has put up some amazing photos from his flight home from Reboot7. They are just awesome and worth you viewing as a slide show.
The most impressive part, tho, was his blog entry:
"...from the far-back window seat (42J) on the right side of a United 777.
If that sounds like a bad seat, it isn't. Not for me, anyway. I had seat 18A in Economy Plus. It featured slightly more leg room, but a view out the window of the top of the very wide wing. All Economy Plus seats are over the wing in a 777, it turns out. So I swapped it for the one in front of the bathrooms."
"... the real treat was Greenland. The sight of glaciers, sliding over a stark landscape of carved mountains and beveled plains into the sea, calving off countless icebergs, is beyond amazing. How jaded flyers with window seats would prefer to sleep or watch bad movies is beyond me."
His entire post is here.
You should read it. It really says something about what's important and how to inhale life. Very very impressive.
We'll be back to other things shortly.
For now, take a break and go enjoy.
