McAfee - How to dump customers
I like alerts on my machine from Zone Alarm, and others who warn me of problems.
Except Crap like this:

This little ditty popped up while I was working away. The only thing missing is the option to switch providers.
No worries, I’ve got that covered. McAfee, you are the weakest link, buh bye..







Is this your only reason for switching or are there others?

I'm curious, as I've been subjected to intrusive marketing as well, which I judge abuses the customer relationship. Does this approach actually work for companies? Are there stats on this? Or is this act of speculative desperation?

Go for NOD32 from Eset Software. It takes a little known company to come out from nowhere (okay, Eastern Europe) to create something that kicks both norton and mcafee butt!
