For Toronto - An SVASE Clone

via Zoli's blog, I learned of the Silicon Valley Association of Start Up Entrepreneurs.  I dug into this and it looks to be an excellent group with a pretty good mission/message.

We need this in Toronto. So, simple enough, I hope.  If you are interested in forming up a group of start up entrepreneurs, doing much of what SVASE does in the Valley, please send me a note, leave a comment here, etc, and next year we'll work together to make it happen.

Rick, my business partner, and I would be very interested. Thank you!

Hi Rick -- lets discuss. Believe you have it already, but will forward contact info shortly.

I'm in, let me know if you need help organizing.

Doesn't the MaRS Centre have a program that serves this exact function?

Rick, I'll be happy to help any way I can
:-)

Can't disagree we need stronger community organizations in Toronto that includes entrepreneurs, developers, technologists, etc.

Why not use TVG to do some/all of what SVASE does?

I'm in!

Definitely agree with David. Love to help, love to participate. Wondering how a "startup inside a company" would fit in with something like this.
