Why we call it No Harm No Foul

As my three readers (and now you) know, we at JLA offer entrepreneurs 30 minute no harm, no foul meetings.  You can come in (or call), do your thing, no problem, no worries.

Here's why:

You've started up a new VoIP company. You've got an AMAZING new killer product. You have millions of downloads, great press, tons of love out there and this baby does everything.  We are scheduled to have a phone call. 6 tries from your system you finally get through.  You start the pitch, speaking at just under warp 6 speed, rivalling that old FedX commercial series.  On slide 8 just as you are explaining why your architecture beats Skype's architecture in call quality, the line goes dead.

Yep. Just Happened.

Yo! Greg! The call dropped, stop talking and call me back.

Like I said, no harm, no foul; the presentation you save may be your own.

[Live update: He finally calls back. He got to slide 18 before realizing I was not there. Bounced right back, didn't miss a beat. I love this guy!]

Sounds like they don't have all the bugs worked out quite yet :)

We had the opposite problem on our first demo. We couldn't hang it up.
